How to Use the Toyota Brake Hold Feature
If your leg is feeling fatigued in traffic, why not use the available Toyota Brake Hold feature? It’s standard on the new 2019 Toyota Camry XSE and can be found adjacent to the center console cupholders – it’s the button that says “HOLD”.
Here’s how to use the Electric Parking Brake (EPB) with Brake Hold function on the new 2019 Camry XSE:
- Put your foot on the brake and push hold.
- A green indicator light will appear on the speedometer display when it’s activated, an orange light the says “HOLD,” will appear alongside of it when it’s engaged.
- When brake hold function is activated and engaged, you can go ahead and take your foot off the brake.
- When you are ready, and traffic is ready and flowing again, touch the gas to get going again.
